Idea for Magna by garad studio

Born from an architectural competition, this project harmonizes heritage with modern sustainability. It preserves an original workshop and replicates a historic street-facing villa, linking them via a new extension built from recycled bricks and CLT wooden panels. The design respects the existing urban fabric while carving out an intimate central courtyard that unites the complex. Inside, a raw palette of concrete, brick, and wood creates an authentic, transparent atmosphere. Defined by habitable terraces and visual connectivity, the architecture embodies the company’s core values of community, family spirit, and openness.
