The project revitalizes a long-vacant commercial space in a prominent 13-storey 70’s development in Klagenfurt, Austria. On the Feldmarschall Conrad Square front, a ground floor hub connects through an open staircase to two levels of offices for an engineering firm, blending 70’s structural elements with modern interventions. A central passage links the ground floor to the west side, transformed into eight apartments, a shop, and parking. Cantilevering balconies enhance the rear side, with proposed trees along the western wall for greenery. The renovation includes a light revamp of the apartments’ entrance and a new, energy-efficient façade with meandering aluminium panels and glass panes, offering a playful touch at the rear.
