Situated in Baně, southeast of Zbraslav, this unassuming village house underwent a transformative reconstruction after a fire damaged its ceilings and roof. Acquired by a family with a vision, the reconstruction honored the original volume and footprint. The garden, now visible through new openings, integrates seamlessly with the house via a glazed vestibule and terrace. A discreet underground concrete garage optimizes garden space. The heart of the house boasts an expansive living area connected to the kitchen and dining room, offering picturesque views. The attic, serving as a versatile gallery, leads to bedrooms illuminated by a strip skylight. Internally, the house impresses with innovative concrete ceilings and recycled roof trusses, contrasting its modest exterior.
