A small apartment by Papundekl architects

The small apartment in a Prosek panel building from the late 60s had not undergone significant renovations. Architects proposed removing original partitions to create a continuous space with a concrete floor, illuminated by windows on both sides. Three minimalist boxes were added, each serving a specific purpose. Recycled Packwall material clad all elements, including functional parts like kitchen island doors. Jan Bárta, the artist-investor, emphasized the use of recycled material, creating a contrast in the space. The apartment, now with an open and modern design, accommodates Bárta’s cooking and artistic interests, offering a sense of freedom on the seventh floor.
